For the non-Facebook crowd, I published a poem in Kaleidotrope: "The Red Flower." From my post there:
It's an older piece, but I still stand by it. "The Red Flower," inspired most obviously by Dracula (both the book by Bram Stoker and the Universal Pictures horror film), and less obviously by a legend in "Forests of the Vampire: Slavic Myths." Bonus Dracula/Renfield for those who come looking for it.
